Previous versions of Blogger were heavily branded with the Blogger logo, but the latest version is flexible and unbranded so you can use it to create and promote blogs without a budget. The main advantage to using Blogger is that Blogger is completely free, including hosting and analytics. If you choose to display ads, you share in the profits.

Features : *Very easy to use, you might have some difficulties customizing themes/Templates but it still easy to add gadgets and more.

*Simple Admin panel where you can modify articles, Pictures, Seo and More.

Wordpress : is an online, open source website creation tool written in PHP. But in non-geek speak, it's probably the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system (or CMS) in existence today.

Wordpress is for companies & For pro Website owners and developpers on the internet, Why ? 
it's kind of complicated to use wordpress. They depends on a good experties of SEO and a bit of paid features.

Templates : The best design template are for wordpress but it's sort of expansive (more than $100).

Finaly, I would like to say that blogger or wordpress are good, Using blogger at first will help you understand more.
